Squirrels are a race of small, bushy-tailed, tree-dwelling rodents native to planet Earth, and a recurring gag in the series of Invader Zim.

Squirrels are usually small in size (about a foot in length), and have coats of fur that usually come in shades of brown, grey or copper. Their most notable characteristics are their long bushy tails and their long front teeth (which they use to gnaw and nibble on nuts and berries). They are also well-known for their agility, and are capable of clinging to the sides and undersides of tree branches.
